If you're going to go cheap, walmart had a 2 ton jack ( steel ) with a 3 1/4" saddle height, It actually works well and is lower than most of the other generic crap.

If you want something lighter, and better quality I'd go sears with an aluminum jack or harbor freight for one of their smaller 2 ton aluminum jacks.

Wow, 2 3/4" is pretty low, I haven't seen any locally for sale, but after doing a quick search, I've seen some 2 1/2" jacks too, but they are all of the large heavy duty type... I was thinking more along the lines of a small portable jack.

Low-pro jacks are pretty pricey.

You can drive the front wheels onto 2x4s then jack it up with a regular jack.

I may pic up one from the MATCO tol truck that comes to my working place! It's very expensive around $400!! But it has a very long super low profile neck. It's perfect for lowered cars! it's pretty flat all the way to the base of the handle and Hydraulic clylinder area. But i may look at Costco or Walmart to see what thier looks like. I have a Red Lightweight aluminum one from sears, but the profile is so high. it's wont fit under my G or Stang! thier too damn low. LOL.

ok so i was in mililani tonight and my girlfriend wanted to go to to walmart so i checked it out again... walmarts low pro has a led light at the jacking point. no use for me.. but i do like the design better then sears cause it's slimmer neck extends inward longer. not sure if that made sense.. oh, the clearance was 3 3/8 so also a bit lower then sears.. but ive always loved craftsman name.. ill probably go with the GM walmart brand for now.. thanks guys...
