Enzo,
Just soak the pedals into hot boiled water and then try to put them on. It took me about 20 min. to put them on. It's kind of hard. But once you are done they look sweet.
=)

Re: help with aluminum pedal install
where you at? we could meet up and I'll put em' on for ya. only takes 15 minutes or so. Do you have the auto or manual. The auto will take a bit longer since you need to epoxy on the parking brake pedal.

macsak: i'm getting hitched the day before you're getting your porsche.
after reading the DYI article below, i guess it doesnt seem too bad. if it's as easy as you folks make it sound, then i'll give it a shot first.
thanks!

the brake and clutch come right off
the gas comes off just like in the link
put the pedals in some hot water for a few minutes and slide them on one side/corner at a time
use a mirror to check if edges of the rubber is over the metal on the pedal
you may have to use a thin screwdriver to "cheat" the rubber edge overteh metal uniformly
gas pedal goes on just like in the posted instructions
the trickiest part is getting off the dead pedal- the "screws" and not really screws at all
look at the aluminum dead pedal you bought
when the screw heads are straight up and down they just clamp down on a bolt sticking out of the floorboard
if you rotate the "screw" to the 10-4 o'clock position from the 12-6 o'clock, it opens up
look closely with the pedal upside down, all you need to do is rotate the screw a few degrees and pull up HARD
then put the screws in the same position on the new pedal, place it down firmly and rotate the screws to the 12-6 position
good luck
