Boy's i need help!...

bear with me cuz i'm kinda drunkski...

i keep getting pulled over so i'm thinking about selling the g. every time i want to drive through waikiki, go to the beach, out to drink, or travel anywhere with speed bumps, i have to ask my dad if i can take his car. i'm sick of it. i just want a car for myself that i can take anywhere. i'm thinking about a tacoma. i'd want either a 4 door 01-04 prerunner or an x-runner. if i get the x i'd be able to keep my rims (same bolt pattern), which i love! i know that any car/truck i get i'll be modding it. just not to the point where its very very illegal to be driving, like i did with the g.

if i could, i'd keep my g and get a beater, but i can't afford that. i won't be able to keep using my dad's car forever, because my brother is gonna start using that as soon as he gets his license. so i'm eventually gonna need my own "take anywhere car". i figure i should sell the car now since i have only 13k miles. however, i know i won't be able to get half what i initially paid for it, plus i put in so so so so much money in with all the mods....but i'm gonna sell those parts..

so what is your guys stand point based on the things that i've mentioned?

Dont you think it would be "cheaper" to get a older honda or toyota than selling the G35? After all the money you spent on buying the car and all the modifications done to it, I dont think you will get nearly what you put into it. Plus all the hassle of selling the parts and putting it back to stock isnt worth the effort. Thats just my opinion. Ive contemplated selling the g too, but in the end I bought a little honda to drive daily. I stll consider selling it because I rarely drive it, but I always change my mind after taking out for a spin.

With the economy the way it is now, selling the g in my opinion would be a bad decision. I contemplated selling mine too just a couple months ago and get something more practical with more room, but I wouldn't get anything for what I put in. Right now I think is the best time to buy a used car. If I were you I would try get a cheap car that you want not just a civic and use it as your daily. Yeah mika told something like your jeep isn't running right? Goodluck with your decision

keep the g, get a beater for everday use. Hard to sell cars now days, no one is really looking and like everyone else said, you will end up worse financially. shouldnt cost a whole lot for a second car, just get no fault on it. Usually insurance companies give discounted rates when another car is added to the policy. my 2 cents.

Can you sell the suspension parts and return to stock, then use that $$$ to buy a beater?

^^ Good Idea. That would get more than enough. Then you would be stock height and be able take it on dates in waikiki and use the beater for the beach.

Haha I kinda contemplated selling mines after just getting it, but for other reasons, So I can get me a 65 impala.... haha maybe if I sold the G I would have enough money to dump a LS7 in with a tremec tr-6060. hehe

GL with your decision.

^^ don't you think my car will look pretty wack with the kit and rims and like 6" off the ground??? i'm pretty sure that i'll loose all interest in the car if it's not looking how i'd like it to, which i can't have.

Take a picture of the car as it is now. Print two tiny photos. Cut out two tiny photos and paste inside sunglasses of your choice. Put sunglasses on when approaching car. Take off glasses once you are inside.

Problem solved.
