hello. i just had a question i was hoping someone could help me with. i just got my personalized plates and i was wondering what i should do with the old one? is there a place to recycle these things?

if i throw it away and someone finds it and puts in on their car and commits a crime, will it be traced back to me? i tried calling the number they have, but no one ever picks up, or it disconnects.

i finally got my personalized plates this past saturday too. just keep it. or if you're on the nervous side, just send it to a metal recycling center. i've kept all of my old plates from previous cars!!

out of curiosity, what are your plates?

hmm..strange.must be the law there? here in socal i have to exchange the old plate for the new one at dmv.

 

i got my plates in today too. i'm debating if i should keep it. it's 'nismo-g'. i was first thinking to build a nismo g35 with full kit and some perf. parts. but now i'm getting second thoughts as to what i'm going to do. if i keep the plates and i dont go through with the plan, it would seem poser-ish.

 

Just get the radiator cap and you won't be a poser. Maybe the Oil cap too just to make sure.
