Powdercoating shops

Any of you reccomend a good place to get wheels powdercoated? I have coupe 19's and want to powdercoat them gunmetal or antracite. I heard that Mekala powdercoating in Kapolei does a good job, but they quoted me $360 for all four rims. I want to find the best deal before I powder coat them.

Here is the color I am going for:

My ex-neighbor worked at 4wheel parts out here, said Mekela was the only place he'd trust.

I've wanted to see if they can take care of the curb rash and such that the previous owner of mine put on my rims.

Yeah I hear that they're the best. At first they quoted me $60 a rim, but after I told him I wanted gunmetal, the price jumped to $90. They said because they have to use a clear coat after the gunmetal? As for curb rash, they said that they can take care of it but they'd have to bump up the price.

hi tech coatings in campbell industrial park...been taking all my stuff there for years. they ALWAYS do good work. price is about the same...had a friend that always used hi tech and he used mekala once because they were a little cheaper, but he said hi tech does a better job.

on a side note: i bought a set of stock 18's that were curbed pretty bad and had hi tech do the powdercoating. when they were done, the wheels looked like brand new...no bull****
