Whats a good shop, to rebuild or forge an engine, good work and sorta cheap? thanks in advance for the help and answers.

 

You want to rebuild your motor cheaply? Most times you get what you pay for. I built my last motor and it cost me 6thousand plus! Parts and labor, ofcourse this was a race ready motor. It also depends what your plans for the motor are, staying stock, mild build, extreme? Do some research on parts and prices, and most shops have a set price for services. Ted's machine shop off nimtz hwy is pretty good all around, check them out. Their very ?knowledgable? And friendly.

 

Well, I hav a SC And my motor blew, but I wanna rebuild it for it or put in a ls1 swap thinkn wat would be cheaper, I still dnt knw wat wat broke... So you built yur engine for race wit only 6gs??? That's pretty good...
