Same thing happens to me, I just put on new wheels w/ pretty new tires on my Z about two weeks ago. Scared me too, sucks when I need to accelerate and there's no power. I didn't change my driving habits, and when I'm on some on/off ramps it does that. After reading this thread I've been turning off my TCS (no VDC) and it's been working fine.
