Insurance Premiums
any of your G35's insurance premiums went up? I was questioning why my insurance rates were going up so i called my agent. She was telling me that it's because the car is getting old and there are safety issues with the G35 that caused the insurance rates to go up on a national level.
just wondering if you guys have the same experience.

I have SF too. I pay a total of $200/mo with multi vehicle discounts, The full size truck and my sportsbike has full coverage. The G35 has just liability.
I got a quote from Geico for $93/mo, Full coverage on the truck and liability on the car, $135/mo if I decide to get full coverage on the car. Gonna put the plates in storage and kit the bike out so I can send it to my cousins house in Monterrey so I can do some track days at Laguna Seca.

Mine went up, but not because of that reason. IMHO, it's stupid if it goes up for that. If that's the case ALL cars should go up. The safety matter shouldn't change. It's not like it got worse on it's own. Driving a G35 today and 10 years from now won't change a d@mn thing on how safe the vehicle is, but safety standards changing is another thing. It's prob another way for them to increase rates, just my guess. Most insurance companies just renew your insurance without even looking up your previous record unless you supply them with some information to question an increase in rates, such as a reported accident, filing an SR-22, etc.
