Life, death, and resurrection of my G37 (pics)

I know some of you know me from FH and I rarely post here. A few of you know I crashed my G about a month after buying it lol. Here's some pics:

Before the crash. I actually took these a week before the crash.

A week later I had some technical difficulties.

Parts needed:
Hood
Mirrors
Front windshield, driver's side window, and rear windshield.
Moon roof
Headlights
Tail lights
Grille
Chrome trunk lip
Paint job

After the insurance cut the check, we sat down and I requested not to go 100% OEM. So here's the parts we agreed to install:
Seibon CF OEM style hood
Seibon CF trunklid
Seibon CF spoiler
20" TE37 knock offs in black
Tinted headlights
Black out tails
Black roof
black painted rear valance

A month later only the bodywork was done.

Two months later the car is still not done. Plus it had the wrong rims.

He offered to ship the rims I wanted but they don't come in 20's. I was not interested in 19's, the car came with 19's might as well keep them if that was the case. So I decided to keep the rims (MRR GT5) but I wanted the spokes in black. He asked me to give it a few days. This was on Saturday.

So today I figured it has been a few days since Saturday and to my surprise, the car looked exactly the same as those pics. I was then shown the rims.

He apologized for the long wait (the car has been there since January 15th) and asked me to give him a few more days to put it back together.

Will post pics once it's done, hopefully by this weekend!

Lol the car has been there since January. They already have taken forever to fix it. I took it to GX auto, friend of mine that has done work for me in the past but he has never taken this long. What pisses me off is that I keep getting promise dates and they are never met. My patience sure is growing thin, sure he hooked me up with some custom work he would charge others for but damn that's a long time to wait.

weren't you glad you did not get a convertible after you went though that fence?

Nice to see her come back

You should have had shop do the work and put it back by your self, That's what I did with mine. Fast, cheap and done with care.

I don't want to think what would be the outcome if it was a vert. Yikes! That VDC button will stay on from now on that's for sure!

More bad news. Apparently the rear glass got damaged during shipping. Now have to wait til next week. Rims are on the car though.

The centercaps are not blue, that's just the protective sticker.
Moon roof and black roof are done.

Black rear valance.

Quite frankly the pics don't do the rims justice. They look very nice in person.

Thanks! I'm just sick of waiting. Once it's done I might show up at the next VQinc meet.
