I like the paint fumes

I didn't feel like spending $300 for an aftermarket grill, so I did this. Again, it looks better in the pics than in person. It turned out ok at best. I'll be doing a better job later, when I'm not lazy.

I plan to paint my grill as well. What kind of paint and primer did you use?

I did 2 coats of primer, 3 of the black, then 3 of the clear. I am gonna redo the grill later, I'm pretty sure it's gonna start chipping soon. Next time, I'll be wet sanding the primer between the coats.

Okay and did you sand before primer?

Yup, 2nd pic was after a little scuff. I just wet sanded using 600 grit sand paper. My friend said I should have used something lower like 400. I dunno, before you start, you should read up on that.
