yea theyre really coming down on the shops here about that, so unless you have a good friend who owns a shop the best thing to do is just get recon. your car shouldnt have a problem getting recon. just get an alignment and youre set.

I have a friend and he won't hook me up because he knows how they're cracking down on fraudulent safety check stations. You should have no problem with your car if the only issue is no cats.

Hey TG, did you have problems with getting recon? The alignment part is all good but I dont see how they expect the front suspension to travel two inches with them just pushing on the bumper. I dont even think stock travels that much.

How low is your car? and for the travel test does the suspension have to bounce a lot?

It's supposed to go down two inches when the guy pushes down on the car. But it also depends on who the inspector is. When I got recon for my teg, the guy didn't do the bounce test.

This thread has some good info

Thanks for posting that! but just by reading it sounds like i wont pass.
I have blue lights inside my car, modified headlights, and clear corners. I could change these out for the inspection but i heard that the cops will give you a fat ticket if they find stuff on your car thats not on your recon list.
