Thinking about boosting my G but don't really have the experience. I have interest in the momentum performance kit. Is there any shop that can install and tune the kit lmk what you guys think? Not really going for high hp....well not yet.

Z performance is one of the official sponsors for momentum they are in the mainland......point I'm getting at is the owner of z performance had his wife's g.....also a worker there.....get that kit. In the video it was said that the car made 400 plus whp and the wtq was just as close and she had basic bolt ons.

Now before anyone says anything I do not know wat psi they were running but they said it was a Safe tune which is pretty good numbers for a stock de block.

But as far as I have known 350-390 is the safe/norm to be running on our engines. But if this kit can push that much power at 7-8psi that is pretty impressive becuz then 400plus would be safe power.

Jus remember anything above 9psi on the daily on a stock block will eventually get u replacing your engine

Yeah I been looking at build threads of other people because I know that we need to build the motor so it can handle the amount. So when I saw that YouTube clip I was surprised that they were running that kit with the engine being mostly stock. So I was very interested. Thanks man for the info. Do you know if there's a shop that can install and tune this for me...if I do get it. I know there's a very detailed instruction guide I jus think it'll be better installed by people with far more experience. Thanks again

Talk to Sonics.

When I had my G I was around 350 rwhp with nothing done to the bottom end. No issues. I was running an APS TT system. If you do Sonics, I would just have Seth tell you what he thinks.

FWIW I think you need to set your budget and hp goals before you get too far down the line.

^^^APS TT kit ran in the 6.5 to 8 psi range. My map was for 91 octane, so I should've been in the range of 350 hp to the wheels. Car ran fine from '05 to when I sold it in '08.
