Plastic cover/ oil change

just changed the oil today. car feels great. i was just wondering if any of you folks left the plastic cover off, the one that covers the oil pan and what not? I mean, I see that it keeps everything under there clean which is ideal with all the electronics under there. it just sucks having to remove the bolts all the time. i was thinking just leaving less bolts on so it'll be easier next oil change . i know there's like a cut off in the plastic cover to change oil but it looks like it'll still drip on the cover. ...i dunno. whaddayou guys think.

i'd leave it on.
you dont want crap flying up in the engine bay.
or make a friend in the military so that you can use the baseyards hobby shops and put your car on lift to make oil changes easier.

my oil change time went down to 10 minutes
my dad got some new airtools from snap-on, like a tq sensitive air ratchet that knows how to adjust tq and it will never over tighten...has a cute white LED light too.

nah...i tried when i had my buick.
i was gonna do a sbc v8 swap into my buick with a single t90 turbo. i had all that i needed but the space to occupy. my house was out of the question.
it wouldve taken up my dads space and time, and ultimately causing him to get busted. ultimately, i sold the car and everything to make the swap.
so stuff like that is pretty much out of the order.
stuff like exhaust, suspension, brakes...things of that caliber of upgrades could be done within the day.

damn, wish i had a place like that. then i can change my diff and trans fluids. I'm at 24000 miles so its about time...right?? i mean, I just wanna do it for my own piece of mind. i live in a condo though, so i can't do it in my stall (geez, that didn't sound right??). I had to change my oil on the side of the street in front of my apartment...haha, so ghetto. that's where i did alot of shiet for my 240 though. i remember, changing my radiator, turbo, dp, manifold, tension rods, tie rods, coilovers, camber arms...etc... on the side of the street. I just had to watch out when the cars would come flying by.
