check out this TL. OUCH!!!
SAw this post on another forum... Just thought I'd share...
I was met on the lot and from the first greeting I was impressed. You asked in your letter if “the purchase experience met my highest expectations”. The answer to that question is yes. I drive for business about 50,000 miles per year, and get a new car every two years.
I was introduced to Mr. Joel Fowler, Silver Level Sales Consultant. This was not your typical used car salesman. Joel was a professional sales person and knew the answers to every question I had. Being a Sales Engineer I had a lot of questions. He did not push me at all and made sure before we went for a test-drive that he had explained all of the safety features to me. This is the best sales person and dealership I have ever worked with.
On January 6th. At 8:30 AM I was hit by a four wheel drive pickup truck, as you can see by the attached photo my Acura was a total loss.
The reason for this memo is two parts. First is to inform you that you have a dealer that is the best run dealership I have done business with, and a sales staff that was great. I spoke with Joel while I was in the hospital and never once did he say anything about selling me another car. He was concerned about me not selling another car.
Part two is your cars, I am writing this memo because I was driving a 2004 Acura TL, and I was told by the Oregon State Police that if I was in any other car I would have been killed. After I was flown to the hospital I was informed that due to the Air Bags and all of the safety features of the Acura are the reasons I survived.
I was I the hospital for six days, no broken bones no internal injuries; I was banged up but will be back to work soon.
Please keep-making cars with all the safety features and please keep improving them. Will I buy another car? YES, and it will be an Acura, and I will buy it from Joel at Ron Tonkin Acura.
Thanks for your time.

OUCH!!!!! Damn that's some amazing stuff.....
On TV i saw some amazing video show and they showed one where a WRX was smashed between two semi trucks. The wreck literally looked like a car crushed on a heavy duty crusher... the guy ended up surviving with just a few bumps and scrapes. The guy who owned the car still visits his car at the junkyard and the first time he went there the owner wanted to shake the hand of the luckiest man alive lol...

haha, speaking of nsx's...i just helped install bilstein shocks in my friends '91 nsx. took us only 6 hours (lotsa problems and mistakes...and we had to dremel out all four strut bolts because they were rusted and rounded out).
