Zaino

Anyone here tried out Zaino car polish? Everything I've been reading about it says it's the best. I was thinking about picking some up. Let me know your experiences.

Thanks

Some of the turbo regal/grand national owners club i belong to uses them. Zaino rocks on dark paint. I havent seen any othe polishes that come close to zaino's shine and luster.

So far the best wax that I have used. Easy to prepare, apply, and remove.

The only down side is that it is hard to come by at times since there is only one dealer on the island.

You think that we should put together an order for some others as well? I dont think that he can do a group buy since his prices are different than the internet ones. His starter package is a bottle of Z-1 Polish Lok (9.95), Z-2 Polish (14.95), Z-6 Gloss Enhancer Spray (9.95), Z-7 Car Wash (8.95), and applicator (2.50) for $44.00, retail value of 46.30 not shipped.

Anyhow, my opinion is that it is by far better than the ones available in the retail stores.

I had been a total Zaino fan when I had my Aegean Blue TL-S. Very shiny and durable. Some people say that it has a plastic wrap look. Very easy to apply and take off. When I got my Black G-Coupe, I initially used Zaino, but felt that it was too shiny. I wanted a deeper rich shine, so I experimented with the new Meguiars NXT and NXT topped with S-100 and have been happy since. The NXT doesn't seem to last as long as Zaino, but looks really nice on dark colors. If your looking for something really shiny, give Zaino a try. You might get hooked on it!

i got the z6 spray, z2 & zfx, z10 leather conditioner... the guy was super friendly, telling me how to properly use the stuff since i nevah before. all the while this cat kept rubbing up against my leg. i gave the kitty's head a little scratch behind the ears-- it was kinda dirty...

anyways, i asked the guy if he was giving free applicator pads for orders over $25 like the website... he said "really?" he went to get the stuff i said i wanted, threw in the applicator for free and said this is how much. i was somewhat surprized with the total b/c it was cheaper than online (when you include the $8.85 shipping). he saw me counting out the bills, said "let me ring it up" came back with a little register tape with no tax added. i was like "i don't need the change" i'm chang, but not that chang!

oops! fergot to mention how i likes it...
i would recommend claybaring your car the first time.
To date, i've put on 4 coats of the z2 w/ zfx and it's pretty sweet. i've used the z6 spray like 10 times already and it seems to help... but, i haven't had much experience as far as other detailing sprays.

this past weekend i Clay Magic'd my girlfriend's white CRV and then slapped on some Zymol. now her ride is smoother than mine-- i can feel little contaminants on my paint. i totally want to claybar mine now but i'm too lazy. i think the Zymol has more of a slippery (almost oily) feel to it.

Thanks guys for all your input. I actually went and got Zaino stuff today. I bought one of the kits and the clay bar. Man that stuff is expensive. But I can't wait to try it out. I'm going to get my car tinted on Saturday so I guess I'll have all Sunday to do all the applications. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. I guess since you're spending a whole day cleaning your car it should be worth it. I just have to remind myself to take before and after pictures.

grizzly,
that's funny the cat did that to me too. I was actually affraid to drive off because they kept going out into the street in front of my car.

Anyone here has tried the Z-8 product yet? I know the Hawaii distributor doesn't even have on the island yet. I'm going up to Cali next weekend. I'm wondering if I should have it shipped to the house I'm staying at.
