Hi-Flow Cats

In Hawaii, What are the laws regarding Hi-Flow Cats?

it's legal providing that the o2 sensors are still intact. it becomes illegal if you have no o2 sensors. i've had hi flow cats on my previous cars and never had a problem getting inspections.

all my cars prior to the G35 had no cat. conv., never had a problem with inspection being my dad does the inspection

can i go to any muffler shop or service station to get it installed , no question ask, no hassels?

Hmm... I don't think it to hard to install... I mean if I can do it.. anyone can... =)... I can help you out if you need any... I have test pipes on my car right now... and it still has the 02's on there..

i'm sure if i spend some time under my car i will eventually do it. i just redid my valvebody a month ago and it was a little fustrating working underneath by myself a extra hand could have help.Had a accident on my left arm side so its a little challenge for me. that's the only reason i asked, i use to be a mechanic before..umm been awhile like 15 yrs back..yup old school..go mopars haha yeah use to have a '70 cuda 440cu in. it was sweet!!

^ holy crap! i bet the Cuda was a monster. my pops use to mess with those. any muffler/exhaust shop would install it. personally, i'd take it to Hi-Pace instead.

hell, i could do it for free, well...providing you bring me lunch. the job is not hard to do. probably would take me all about 15 minutes, maybe less.
if you need a shop to install, munkyworks, hi-pace, esh can do the job. drop my name at either munkywurks or hi-pace, you may get a discount. at hi-pace, my girlfriend's youngest brother is a tech help for them. munkywurks are my sponsers. esh? just go see roland.
