should ask the dealer because if it is a Nismo product, maybe they will warr the item and also not void your warr in the future if something does break. To me that would be the best place to start with.

I think they'll (dealership) warranty the item and the installation if you buy the item from the dealership.

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't cams Nismo R-Tune parts, so Nissan will/does not warranty the R-tune parts as far as their effect on your powertrain?

I'm sure if the cam is defective, then a case could be made, but other than that if the cam is within manufacturer's tolerances I think that you are on your own.

Wink

Yup, you are correct on R tune cam. They only have R tune Nismo cams available so far. I think it was Nissan Performance parts. But many others carry Nismo R tune.No warranty on R tune from IOHon.
Parts dept called me back and said try local Nissan Dealers for Nismo. Cause they don't got it.
They were supposed to get Nismo in the warehouse across the street from IOH.
That must have fell thru. Or extremely late.
My G is a 03 and the sales guys said it was supposed to happen in 04.
Called Infiniti and left message for Jason............2 days now, Noooooooo return call.
I know those guys are busy BUT?????
And I called Endless and also left message, today. Still no return call.
I did'nt know how tough it was to get quotes for labor.
Cause, If the labor equals the cost of the Cams. Why do it. 2 Grand for 15 HP.
Actually, I was going all N/A. Cams 1'st. Then Headers, cat back, and JWT intake.
Sh$#@..Maybe I should just buy some wheels and forget the rest. NAHHHH
HeHe.

I know Tony Nissan has some Nismo items in their showcase. Try them.
If Marcus at Endless doesnt get back to you, I'll be seeing him next week at the SuperLap Series at the track, June 4. You can come and spectate the event ($10) at the same time you can touch base with him then. He'll be driving the green EK hatch. If you prefer a nissan specialist, then call Niztech at 284-5816, ask for steve oliberos.

Niztech

Would be nice to get Endless to do it. He's right down the street from where I work.
Once I met the guy from Wailua that does Silvia conversions. He's a sponsored drifter and works on Nissans.
Could this be the Niztech guy?

You should just go talk to Marcus in person. If not him then one of the techs working in the shop. These guys have experience with Nissans (mostly 240sx), but I'm sure they can do the job.

^^^
There's two nationally sponsered drivers in D1 that are here that drives 240sx's. Barry Wong and Steve Oliberos. Steve-O has more experience (I think) with Nissans, being that he specializes in Nissans.

2 Grand for 15 HP!? Hmmm, how about adding XT-Pro CP Pistons, Darton Sleeves, and Cometic Gaskets together?
