You guys got me right on the dot...my plan is to get the 19's from the Coupe. Hehehe...the clean style is probably an island thing, ahhh? These mental braddah's up here keep trying to make a G35 some kinda "luxury" or pimp-mobile...w/ 20" chromes & tv's & ****....brah, its a freakin "sports sedan"!!! Made to RUN, right?!?! LOL

However, I'm having a real hard time getting a set (of the factory 19's) at a decent price...and I'm in CALIFORNIA (where everything is readily available & cheap)!!!

So, I might call up some of my connections from previous job (aftermarket wheel & suspension & perf. parts company...to remain nameless) & get hooked up.

You guys know what STERN ST-1 looks like? I'm thinking 19x8.5 all the way around...or do you think staggered is better? I figured its a Sedan, afterall, y'know? We'll see...I'll post pix as soon as I decide & get something on there!

i agree with beangrower, and get staggered. just stay away from Stern's. they're low quality. get something more up the line. your typical Volk, and Work's will do. or check out the JLine wheels.

jes curious, how do you jack a car up when it's that low? i change my own oil, but don't think my jack would fit under there to begin with...

GRIZZLY...

You just gotta roll up on a couple of planks of wood (2x4)...that should give you enough clearance to slide the jack underneath & voila!!! ^-^

Aloha fr Cali

But, nah, I'm not going that route...no worries, I'll post pix as soon as I put on whats in my mind right now...heheheh =P

Well, hope you can get your car up on jacks now...LOL

Aloha! ^-^

yeah what ^he said. I'd try JLines. Not much people have'em and they look pretty sweet. If I didn't order my volks long time ago, I prolly would've gotten some mesh style jlines w/ the step lip.

Hey Jimmy Chow, man your car's sick! I'm in SD now and I drove up to LA on the I-5 last night and just before LA I was driving by this "giant" Infiniti dealer in Mission Viejo and I thought that was yours! (Oops - wrong "M" as in "Montclair.")

Anyways, I'm leaving on Sunday afternoon and I'm hoping to get an '05 G35 rental this weekend and drive up to LA again. (Don't think I have the time to do the Las Vegas thing this time around.) Do you guys cruise on the weekends or what? I remember the last time I did a mini-roadtrip like 2 years ago on the 101 North, I did 100+ and alll these damn CHiPs were like coming out of nowhere, but now I'm doing like, er, "keeping up with traffic," and all these cars are like whipping by me doing 100+ and there ain't no popos in sight! wtf? Oh, plus this DG coupe blew past me doing 100+ last night on the drive back to SD. dayum!
