how is the Waikoloa these days??? still a nice hotel? i might be coming up to the BIG I in august. wouldn't mind staying there for the pool!!

 

Do you have kids? If you have kids, waikoloa is good. I just went down there for dinner a couple weeks ago and its great for families. Cheapest among all the resorts.

If you want nice, stay at the Hapuna. Now thats a great hotel. Better than the Mauna Lani Bay, Mauna Kea, Fairmont Orchid, Hilton and Outrigger Waikoloa IMO.

^ thanks! i never even heard of those hotels! last time i stayed at a hotel on the B.I. was when Waikoloa, and Ritz were built!

 

Hapuna is awesome. I stayed there a year ago. It's so beautiful and peaceful. I had an awesome room because I know one of the girls that work for Hawaii Prince reservations. The greatest surprise was that she paid for the entire stay there and said it was a birthday present.
