JWT In Hawaii?
The JWT TT kit is what I plan on getting for my G, when it gets CARB certified. Anyone know of any JWT authorized dealers or installers in Hawaii (Oahu)

i'm not quite sure. the JWT TT is what i wanted to get too. i'd say just go through either reputable shop here. personally, i'd go through hypers, hi-pace, endless, or Sonic's.

Do you mean for the system, or the install? I've decided on the JWT for a number of reasons, and I am sticking with that. If you mean APS for the install, who are you talking about?

APS is going to be Revolutions.
Spoke to the APS rep many times and what was told to me was they choose revolutions to do their installs and they (Revolutions) will be an authorized dealer.

Revolutions....reputable?? Hmmm more than likely..yes. I go to them to take care of my tire installs and they have been very good about it. As far as the install of a turbo kit...honestly, I have not known them to have done one. However, they did install an ATI Procharger on a 350Z. For installs..I probably would go to Farids shop or possibly Endless Garage considering all the recommendations there. Farids because he has a G and he has worked extensively on them and its being used in the D1 and other races, not just a show car.
In all though..the APS kit was supposed to be one of the best kits to use if you are just going to use it out of the box with no other modifications. Thus the kit is pretty complete and straight forward. No real hard core tuning needed...just a good install and attention to details to basic tuning. Not too sure about the JWT kit though. Still doing research on that kit to see what it has and the boost limits and power curves.
Goodluck though. See you at the tracks??

It's a toss up between hypers and endless. Both of them use Justin Izumi, a very reputable tuner in Hawaii. I have no experiences with Revolutions but I hear they're pretty good with the aesthetics. I havent heard anything about them doing engine work or tuning, but their company is still young, growing and promising. I'm sure they'll have no problem having someone do a quality install and a throrough tuning. The same goes with Hypers and Endless, providing you put money on the table. Money pretty much speaks for everything anyways.
A side note on the APS. Not the tuner version, but the full turn-key kit, it comes with the Unichip.
Currently there is no Unichip tuner in Hawaii that I know of. The closest is in California, so don't bet on getting the Unichip tuned unless one of the tuners just happens to be coming to Hawaii for vacation.

I'd read the reviews, especially in Sprot Z magazine, and (I think) Motor Trend. The big point was that while the JWT didn't make the max power of anything, it did give the most drivable power and seemed the most professional, "stock" looking of them all.
I'm going with JWT, they were great on my old Z32TT, and have a great reputation as quality manufacturers/tuners for Nissan cars.
