Are the clear corner lights illegal in hawaii? I heard it has to be orange in front and red in back....with some kind of red reflector? I was thinking like the clear corner is just clear and the light inside is yellow so it's ok but I don't know. Is it illegal?

 

yeah, most likely. fuc.king with the lights period is illegal.

 

A lot of people get the clear corners and use the stock amber bulbs. Some just take a chance with clear LED bulbs also. I just ordered some mirrored amber bulbs from Vakamon racing.

It depends on what look you want to go with.

the stock ones were an ugly clear bulb. the ones that come with authentic nissan clears are amber.

The clear coner lights are illegal in Hawaii, no matter what color bulb you put in them....

ask me how I know, well I have a few fix it tickets for them...lol....

I tried all kine color combo's on the corners and the po-po's didnt give ****!!!!!

 

I believe the lights you're refering to are actually considered side markers, and not corner lights. Not that it matters either way, but yeah.

Anyone got pulled over by the police JUST because of the clear corners? Still debating right now. If they don't stop people just for clears, I'll put them on since they'll be the only thing illegal on my car. Mines bone stock..with legal tints. Oh, and I don't speed....that much.

 

^ just get em! had illegal tint, clear corner, and bright white bulbs, and no problems for almost a year.

 

Believe it or not, yes we had someone pulled over because of the clear corners.

But more importantly is where you are going to be most of the time. Waikiki....ha guaranteed you are going to be pulled over.

 

i was pulled over for the clear bumper lens with the piaa hyper white bulbs. i forget the hefty ticket fine, but it wasn't worth it. so, i put in amber bulbs.
