Re: Honolulu people here?

Aloooooha everyone! I'm new here. I might be purchasing a G35 6MT coupe soon or by the end of this year. I test drove it and I love it! I will visit Infiniti Motor Sales tomolo again and see whats up. It should be in black/graphite with sunroof. Hopefully I can get a good deal from the dealer. Stay tune guys...peace out~

Re: Honolulu people here?

Sup CBR600RR-nice bike ! Yea I just got back from the dealership today...and I made a little change on my previous decision. I've ordered a black/graphite one with 5AT + tire package which is coming in 2 weeks later. Well...I might be regret later on but since my mom would be driving it while she's here...so I might as well just go for 5AT instead of the 6MT. Kiss goodbye to the brembo brakes T.T. Well I was told by the dealer that brembo brakes might be available for the automatic versions as an optional upgrade later on...but not in the mean time. So guess theres no choice for me. Just my .03 cents
Well laterz guys...have fun at the cruise tomolo!

Hey SkylineGT,
Sedan right? Whatcha think of the gear limiter on the autoshift?
I only let my mom drove once, cuz she left the foot brake on til she got back - ouch! Infinti checked the brakes, still perfect.
You shoulda get the 6MT, then we woulda trade for my auto. lol j/k. ...Enjoy

Re: Honolulu people here?

Herb, if your coolant system is running less than full, you'd better add some in there. However, if you're talking about the reservoir, then it's not bad as long as it's between the MIN and MAX level *when cold* you're fine.

Re: Honolulu people here?

I last posted on this site awhile ago...unfortunately, I decided to not pick up a G35 in favor of the 6spd tsx. However, my gf decided to buy a G35, so i'll be lurking around here from now on!

04 G35C DG, sport pkg. Too bad it's an auto, but still very nice!

gen6,

May I ask on why did you decide on the JDM Accord?? Just wondering. Though those 6 speeds are fairly quick, and the interior might be a little more luxurious based on what I have been reading and seeing.

Re: Honolulu people here?

i liked the interior better..it felt and looked quite luxurious. I was also pretty impressed with the engine output of the k24. The i-vtec engine has a flat torque curve unlike the first generation vtec's peaky torque curve. It actually seems like the engine's underrated, and this was with the auto trans.

Probably the biggest reason to sway me from the G, was that the tsx is $6000 cheaper.

Re: Honolulu people here?

gen6-

$6K cheaper?? Really?? Mmmmm, okay, I can buy that as a good reason. $6K buys a lot of other things and investments (other than car stuff).

Agreed though. The interior of Acuras are usually very nice.

Well, good luck in getting the TSX . Enjoy your ride and drive safely in what ever you choose.

gen6-When you get a chance, PM me your e-mail. There are times when the G's and the Z's hook up and do outtings. I can keep you posted on such events should you choose to participate.

Take care, drive safe, and enjoy BOTH of the cars.
