Guys Please Help Me!!!
ok this week hadn't been that great for me/my car. the problem that i discovered tonight was that my AC is ****ing up. at 60 degrees is cold air, but at 61+ is warm/hot!!! WTF! i know someone else had this problem on this forum. i know warrenty should cover it, but i'm worried about my mods. i have, modified stock g-tube, k&n drop in, 1/2 MD spacer, fogs in lower grill, sounds, crawford HF catsaftermarket shock sensor. i also found tonight that my aftermarket fogs don't stay on. i can ficker them by pressing the button, but they don't stay on. idk what the hell i f-ed up. this week i just installed the shock sensor. should i change my car back to stock b4 goin to infiniti?????????? thanks
I think you should be fine...the mods you listed does not sound like they would have anything to do with the a/c unless you were working around any of the a/c units....I would think you would be safe just to take it in. As for the fogs how did you wire the relay to turn them on?
you mentioned you had sounds, did you replace the head unit? If so then that could be a problem as the AC controls are tied into the stock head unit. If so put back in the stock deck or they will blame it on the aftermarket install.
i cut off both the top and bottom "resignators" on the tube, and sanded it all down, to make it basically a Z-tube but with the stock curve. i don't have an aftermarket head unit, only sub and amp. i recently was working under the steering wheel dash and i'll have to double check the work on that. the fogs have been wired to turn on w/ the parking light or headlights, if i push the button that i wired to inside.
work under the dash? check the interior air temp sensor, it's the hose thing on the underdash panel, if you forgot to plug it back in then that could be causing your AC problem.
As far as your fogs, do you have a multi-meter? I would check to see that you're getting voltage at the switch, could be an intermittent problem due to a bad connection. How did you tap in the stock wiring, did you use a T-tap, if so try squeezing it with a pair of pliers to make sure theres good contact.
shoot me a PM if you need help.

yea, i took apart the switch, (idk y is fuc king up now) and i can't see anything wrong, but idk what i'm looking at. um, how would i wire it to on? i mean it stays on if i hold the switch in a position.
just wire the fogs in the ON position. if there is no problem, then its the swtich. in either case, it is more than likely the switch malfunctioning. go and buy a cheapo one from radio shack, it'll work better than the one you got now.
ok, i'm sure a simple electician can know this but there are 3 wires coming from my relay that go into the button (that broke) black, yellow, and blue. anyone know what wires what? and where it would be wired to with an aftermarket toggle switch?

what about my fogs, its very irritating. i can hold the button in a certain position and they work, but once i let go there off.
