Stock Sounding Headers/exhaust/ Cat solution

Ok so...this is a little bit of a wierd question maybe? since most people are concerned about performance and an aftermarket sound.

I want something that retains the exhaust note that the stock G's system has. Maybe...slightly more aggressive, but from all the sound clips i've heard, they just sound like your regular 6 cyl, nothing unique like the unique stock note the G comes with.

I want to do these mods for modest power gains but would like to keep the stock sound, maybe a little louder, but still the same sound or close to it.

I was thinking a lot has to do with the cataylitic converter... and I'd definitly be going random technologies or another high flow cat, that'd be the only way of even having a chance of retaining the stock sound.

So i need suggestions, clips, etc. Price is not an issue here.

-Headers
-Cats
-Exhaust-cat back.

True dual or single?

If you change any part of your exhaust you will change the note... You'd have to get the right resonator to compensate for any changes you make, and good luck doing that...

no way u can do that. Thats why nissan engineers spend countless hours creating this car with its unique exhuast note.

Im assuming ur talking about the coupe exhaust.

fujitsubo is the closest youll get. i would think once you touch the headers and cats, its game over for the sound.

I'm looking for the same qualities in an exhaust as you are and I've decided on the new fast intentions exhaust. It might be what you're looking for. Here's some sound clips to check out the sound for yourself. He even has testpipes on and it still sounds like stock, just a little deeper and meaner. There's currently a group buy going on for the exhaust as well.
