Mods: Can you move this thread to the review section?
This is going to be brief. Many have posted that the gains from the MREV are absolutely incredible and and others (although certainly in the minority) are dissapointed. My opinion definately leans towards a more positive review.
The two upgrades clearly improve the cars acceleration, especially in terms of midrange torque. The car sounds more aggressive, a good thing for an already quite car. The car starts to sound rather angry at WOT, which is what I want. However, I will need exhaust for the sound I am really after. Here in Texas, you really need something aggressive to keep all the A-holes in gigantic trucks w/military grade grille guards (who think they are driving sports cars) in check. As with Andy's review, my gf immediately noticed the different sound.
My quesstimate, based upon my butt-dyno is that the car is a solid 5% faster. I would say that the horsepower gain is from 10-15, and the torque gain is 15-18. It pulls better.
Considering that the VQ3.5 is a very hard motor to squeeze more power from, my conclussion is that the MREV2 plus 5/16 combo is definately worth the $725. ITS NOT FI, PEOPLE....DON"T EXPECT IT TO BE!
Now for my Mustang, I would expect more for the money, but that is another story.
Hats off to Tony and Dave at Motordyne (they are very, very helpful if you call them) for creating an excellent performance mod.

I have the package but yet to put them on. I'm affraid that I'd lean my car out with the CAI & Full Plenum package mods. I don't have the budget for FI yet
Anyone got their AFR checked out after these mods yet?

Can't say if it runs lean or not....it seems to be as smoth as ever. I did reset my ecu.

for MREV2 + 5/16 spacer on a REVUP engine, most of the feedbacks that I see are very very postive with almost zero issues on leaning out the A/F and timing being retarded
However, as for myself, a MREV2 + 5/16 spacer on a NON-REVUP engine does seem to lean out the A/F to an extend that power is sometime lost when the ecu retards timing probably due to the leaned out A/F
yet, to confirm the problem of having a MREV2 + 5/16 spacer on a NON-REVUP, I would have to do more dyno pulls to verify and probably get a tune to max out my gain
In short, I believe the MREV2 is a great mod to have and I am looking forward to get a tune!

With my current listed mods, I am running about 13.9:1. I am hoping that the MREV2 keeps the AFR the same after its installation.
