I did a search and I found nothing pertaing to my question. I know the 350Z mid-pipe is shorter so if purchase one(can get one cheap) what else would I need other than an adapter to lengthen it? Also will a place like pepboys sell something like this or would I have to go custom?

 

I had a 350z midpipe before I got my stillen exhaust. It required a roughly 6" extension to be welded to fit properly. Most exhaust shops can do it without a problem.
