Re: cat back exhaust question

Do not run a 3" exhaust unless your know without a doubt that you will run you car with a turbo or supercharger.

Re: cat back exhaust question

You will not have enough back pressure for low rpm with that size piping, and in return you will lose torque. Basically put, you don't have enough exhaust coming out of your engine to take use of 3" piping. With a turbo or supercharger, you are expelling much more exhaust.

Re: cat back exhaust question

I have a custom Dual FLOWMASTER exhaust. It's 2 1/2 piping from Cats back with X Pipe and Dual resonators leading to a series 90 Muffler Dual In Dual out. It was originally designed for a camaro. sounds really Good. Gurgen was Nice enough to Post Sound Clips for me. Check old post on this forum for them........Good Luck

Re: cat back exhaust question

What do you Mean? When did we buy American Cars? Who designed the TSI ECU on your car? The Borla Exhaust is American. My Air filter is a K&N. My Full dual exhaust system is built around a Magnaflow muffler and 2 Blue Streak Mufflers. Who designed and built the Crawford modified plenum that I am using? My Ground wires are also an American Product. Also I believe the tires Nissan chose for the G35C 6MT are French. Something wrong with all that?

Re: cat back exhaust question

have you heard tadashis english?, as for the rest of the stuff on my car it is japanease. oh yeah the programmers japanease and to my knowledge is in japan as i write this.

every car i know with a magnaflow is a mustang or a camaro, id love to be lumped in with mustangs...
if you had commisioned tubi or something to make exhaust for our car i wouldnt have a problem with it, but to me buying american=buying something not thoroughly tested.
ask borla howmuch hp made on their car. theyll lie, its that bad.

my ground wires are hks, my downpipes are mines, my wheels(whenever they finally get here) are volk, exhaust will be veilside AND titanium. My air filter which im gonna put in during my next oil change is SARD, which reminds me, my oil filter is from power enterprise. seats will be Bride, as for the rest of my car i dont know what ill be getting but i can tell you itll be japanease.

im normally not militant about this and to each his own, but since you wanted to make what i said a big deal...

Re: cat back exhaust question

I made it a big deal, because you made it a big deal. To each his own I say. If you want to keep the pedigree on your car all Japanese, that's your business, but don't chide the those of us who chose not to. I'm sorry, but I relate Magnaflow to a well designed free flowing muffler not to a make of car. I invesitgated all my mods. For me. I made the right choices. BTW, I hope you've removed all the Bose lables from your "G". Yes I know it's built in Japan, but the label is purely American.

Oh ya, for your next oil change, Japanese Oil? Last I knew, no oilfields in Japan. Oh My!

tadashis english - No Idea ????????

Re: cat back exhaust question

i probably use arab oil, no qualms about that,
im not irrational enough to remove the labesl just to make you happy, im pretty much referring to performance parts for our cars when i become a **** about japanease V american parts.
i could buy hks oil if you want to get technical, but im sure its just another company rebadged.

i was referring to tadashi, technosquares programmer, he is very japanease, and part of the process for my ecu involved sending it to japan.

Whoopttee FFFF*****en DDOOOOO,
Lets see I have a Car built in japan, Infiniti Badges from US, Tires fromFrance, Brakes from ITALY, The CEO of NISSAN is a Frenchman from RENAULT. Now my Car is rebadged with JDM emblems, Sidesill. But I chose a CAI from the US, Springs from the US, Exhaust from the US, My Grounding Kit is US, But Since I'm Japanese Are they Japanese wires or American???!!! My Wheels are from JAPAN, My tires are from Germany, I pickand Choose which parts I want to Put on My Car. If you want japanese. BAKA NO YARO NO GAIJIN NIHON NI IKIMASENASAI. Wait Japan has 100+ octane gas We better import that. At Super Auto bacs we SHOULD ALL BUY GENUINE NISSAN OIL......
