Test Pipes

Has anyone put the test pipes stillen or UTR? if so howd you set it up? Im thinking of putting them on with an exhaust controller with no muffler but want to know how it sounds open and closed...

what if i put the exhaust controller on it that electronically controls the flow/sound? you think it be quiet/normal sounding?

I had 3 different types of test pipes on my sedan and not one did not have a nasty rasp at around 3000 rpm's. Not one had a good match up with the flanges at the y-pipe connection.
