race pipes/test pipes Good mod?

race pipes/test pipes....is this a good mod as a next step? all i have is the greddy sp2 exhaust and injen intake...some people say the headers are not worth it since im really not looking to go FI..just wanna add some more power for fun, maybe get it in high 13s at track 13.9 even ..heres the link http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=128

If you don't mind your car smelling like race fuel not to mention SEL ...allthough which can be solved with 02 fouler also car gonna sound raspy. If you can live with this two..Then i say go for it. Best part is it gives you noticeable power gain.

Test pipes give you gains but like shawn said you'll need to enjoy the smell of gas! I had them and got HFC instead.

They do have big bang for the $. But resonated is the only way to go on a street car. Even then, you will get a little rasp and you will get a SES light if you dont no-foul the O2.

These http://www.unlimitedtuning.com/Forum...657c6055ee4e3b
are good since they are resonated, have the factory mounts, and are the same price as the stillen. I never had much problem with gas smell with mine.

I would go for it. For $300, you will definitely feel the gain.

I just got these (Kinetix RTP's) and I LOVE EM... They are loud but not obtrusive and the power is addicting

And read.... No Check engine light... I have not had one pop up yet!
