Hi Flo cat question

Yes i searched...couldn't find anything...

anyways...i currently have an Injen CAI w/ Borla dual catback. the borla has an extra set of magnaflow resonators installed to quiet it down a bit...sounds great to me...my question is, i don't want to pay a lot for high flo cats. I had test pipes on the car a while back and it sounded like a raspy civic..i was thinking about buying an extra set of OEM cats off ebay or something and hollowing them out. has anyone done this or something similar? what's your opinions? thanks

You will get a similar sound from what I have read here. Resonated test pipes or high flow cats are the answer. They will tone down the higher pitched noise.

You will want resonated testpipes for high flow cats - hands down.

We have both and a group buy in place right now in the marketplace for our new high flow cats.

Don't waste your time hollowing out a cat. You will end up with a similar effect as to having test pipes. If you wan't to eliminate the rasp you need RESONATED test pipes...Tony
