Kinetix SSV Manifolds

Yeah, I got the sheets from it... I am almost hesitant to post them though because it was NOT a fair representation of the SSV due to the lower octane I was running and I do not want anyone to copy and paste the dyno results as gospel. I want to give the SSV a fair chance and this was not a fair comparrison for it.

When I go back in next week or the week after (Lol, this gets expensive) I will post those results since I will go in with the higher octane which is what I had the Crawford tuned for. Not a perfect comparrison but it will be on the same dyno, in the same heat (Arizona) with the same Octane gas (From the same gas station) within one month from the Crawford Tune...

If I could get a f*king shop to schedule me for dyno time f*uk! I didn't think this would be difficult. The Washington D.C area shops are way better then down here in Miami. This is annoying as sh*t trying to get scheduled. I am tired of this phone BS I am going in to one of them on Thursday to schedule.

Keep fooling yourself. The POS SSV does not produce any power n/a or FI. If you're ok with spending $800 for bling that goes under your hood then go for it. Personally if I want bling, I buy jewerly not a mod for my car especially after spending thousands of $$$ on other mods trying to make the car faster.

I talked to the owner again today from Kinetix and this is what he had to say
I dont believe you will lose 10hp with N/A , what are all your mods? Will
you guys be getting a/f readings with the dyno runs as well?
The only time the SSV loses power is when it throws the a/f curve off. for
some reason in FI setups in can cause a couple VERY rich spikes in the
curve. I havent been able to figure out exactly why, but when you re-tune
the curve back to where it was before, it always makes good power.
In N/A form this is not usually a problem like it is with FI , but a/f
curves should be compared with your before and after runs. In N/A your a/f
curve can really maximize power. lets say you run a nice flat 12.5/1 air
fuel ratio when you dyno your car. You are pretty much maximizing the cars
power with the current mods you have on it at the time. You cannot really
tune much better than 12.5/1 and lets say your car puts down 260rwhp. A
good comparison of a modification will keep all the variables the SAME, so
you bolt on the SSV and make sure the a/f ratio is ALSO 12.5/1 and you then
see what max power your car can output.
Generally this is not needed in N/A form , we usually see gains of approx 10
peak (above 5500 rpm) and gains in the 10-15 hp range from 3000-5500.
Make sure you look at the entire curve. Many intake products provide a nice
peak spike right at redline, for only 100-200 rpm's . This is because in
factory form the car drops off its power right before it hits redline. The
intake plenums out there (including ours) will show its best gains right at
redline, sometimes as high as 12-18 hp or even more with the right spike in
power. However this might give a good max power number, but you only get to
use that power for a split second, where mid range power is used all the
time.
When will this dyno session be held? and what are the parameters? I can
almost promise the vortech car will need tuning after SSV install
