Hey this is cool! A 5/16" spacer and SSV shoot out.
In any event, please do a controlled test to minimize changing of non-plenum related variables.
Same car, same day, same dyno, same gas, ECU resets before each set, regulate coolant temperature to 190'F for each set and each pull.
Do not remove the car from the dyno between sets.
Will you be doing a baseline set of pulls (without any plenum mods) before you start the comparison?
It would be good to see how all the data relates/compares to a baseline test condition.

I have never seen a picture of one of them cut open. I've always been curious as to what's inside of the box.

Oops.... If I came across nasty that was not my intention at all... I was just saying that I was going to do this and post the results anyway and I would not want the 25 to help out the forum...

So if 15 people pay paypal $5 bucks the testing will happen. That will cover 1 of the 3 session's of testing I plan on doing. I will have to pay the shop to install and un-install these two parts which adds to the cost for me which of course I will take care of This testing will either help a company or hurt one. I will be posting these results all over this website as well as my350Z.com and all the myspace G35 and 350Z club sites. This is no BS magazine test where a vendor might of paid extra money to put in a good word. Real testing real results......
Ok I am also doing a controlled test with DynoComp in Scottsdale Az this Friday...
http://www.dynocomp.com/
2 pulls with the Crawford (tuned) and then install the SSV and tune... then 2 pulls...
Compared on the same day w/ the same gas on the same machine without removing the car from the dyno between the 2 intakes.
If there is anything else I need to know to make it a fair comparison please let me know as I want this to be a non biast test...
