Who Has The APS 2.5 Exhaust On Their Ride? I Have A Question...

My friend has this exhaust but it was for a 350z...was wondering if I were to get extensions if it would fit. Does yours fit well? Do you have a G or Z? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i would assume with the typical 8" extension that it would fit like any other exhaust coming off a Z would

I'll stick my head under my car tonight and see if I can't take some pics for you.

Left bank of the exhaust just back of the cats:

Right bank of the exhaust just back of the cats:

It's a bit tough to see where the extension would go since there's a gentle sweep along the pipes. If there's an APS dealer near you the best thing would be to see if they could put the Z & G exhausts side by side.

APS 2.5" TD exhaust on my APS ST.

Required not only an 8" extension, but also required the tips to be extended a few inches to clear the rear bumper. This is directly from Peter at APS as well as my own experience.

Can;t comment if you go directly from OEM cats.

I have the 2.5" TD. I have the oem cats, and a TT, so the sound (to me) is actually quieter than stock (unless you are WOT). Sorry, but I haven't heard an NA car with the APS TD 2.5" exhaust.

Hhhhhmmmmmm..........this is interesting. I'm not so sure this might be the right exhaust to get. Keep in mind that APS was tuning to get a lot of air flow through the car since this was anticipated to be used in conjunction with their TT kit.

You might want to touch bases with G352NV. He had a SC on his car before he went turbo and might have some thoughts on getting a bit of backpressure when setting your car up with a SC.
