Well I installed the FI Intimidator Exhaust today and here are some of my thoughts.

Pros:
~Deep sound at WOT, sounds awsome and no rasp. I'd say about 50% louder then stock.
~When cruising no drone and at idle its very quiet
~Perfect fitment, everything lined up right the first time
~Quality seems very good, nice welds
~VERY good packaging and instructions

Cons:
~Because the Tips are rolled they look smaller then stock even though they are the same diameter
~Would have like to keep a little more of the "VQ" note

Overall its a well put together system, if I had to do it again I would buy the same system.

Picked-up my Intimidator yesterday. Met with Tony (and the Gang) and yes,
they really have their "stuff" together !! They have wonderful Tech Support and Customer Service. Quality, Fit and Finish are excellent ! Currently, I am right in the middle of the install and will report back soon...

Oh, and thanks to you Rick...so far everything you've mentioned is "right on track" !!!

 

everything but the VQ note i do not care for. I'd much rather give up the 20hp or whatever it gains for the most perfect exhaust sound ever from a factory.

 

Glad to hear you love it man...give the system about a 100 miles to season in...you'll get more of that sound back.
