get a piece of line, and tie two bowlines, one to the grill and the other too the hood for extra safety if your that concerned.

think about you traffic mirrors and the pressure required to fold em

Somewhere around this part. It's hard to see the lines in this picture but on that area you will see a area that has a plastic line. If you look behind that area you will see a box you can cut out basically.

Don't do it...I saw a car that had it's hood slapped up and into the windshield and crack that sheit...The latch helps but it will give whenever....

so you just basically cut along the red line, cutting a hole for the air to ram right in?

i remember that the Gruppe-M Carbon Fiber Intake has a "air collector" right behind the grill, i think. but i would be worried about water getting in there...

I'm going to try and cut that hole out for my Stillen intake. Seems like a good idea to me.

Well if it rains, get some tape and cover the hole up.

yea, I think someone did that before.

the only objection is that the "fiber composite" piece cost $$$$$$. I dont know why

Thanks for the input, but I am not sure if it is worth to cut in that composite area =)
I guess if it is a toy as opposed to a daily driver, I would have done that already ..
