Mod process begins

Just got my jwt pop charger installed with z-tube. Also got the intense y-pipe and megan resonates test pipes. Have to get the test pipes installed. I had the intense one for about 24hrs but they were way too raspy. Hopefully these sound nicer. Not sure on what to buy next. It is either tein s-techs or top speed headers from another member on here. What do u guys think I should do? The intake sound nice, but doesnt compare to having vtec on a v6...lol. But when thing i have to say, is adding test pipes is like a night and day thing when it comes to performance.

just remember, test pipes are illegal and not earth friendly. You couldd just go with some RT free flows instead.

Who the f*ck cares man? You think one less car with test pipes is going to save the Ozone? Keep the resonated TP's and if they are still too raspy, buy some High-Flow cats. Fast Intention's has a new set they just started making, and Crawford has high-flow cats.

HAHAHA... I suspect that this is the first and ONLY time I will ever hear someone say that a mod isnt "earth friendly" .. and i thought my brother-in-law was gay for saying that he doesnt eat fish that are "overfished"!

IMO, replacing the stock cats with something much more free flowing nets pretty good gains on the butt dyno. The difference to me was like driving with and then without a passenger, or running with a 1/4 tank of gas instead of a full.

Nothing like boost but enough that should keep you very happy and make you not want to return to stock.

ive never heard of any test pipes (even with resonators) that have zero rasp..

yes youll get the best performance out of test pipes but id stick with HFCs to stay awar from rasp..but thats just me..

as for whats next i would do the rest of the exhaust since youre already doing test pipes and a ypipe..

just my two cents
