Damaged Greddy Evo2 Y-Pipe

I bought a Greddy EVO2 from a member on here. When I got it it had a damaged Y-Pipe flex piece(don't know what it's called) that wasn't mentioned in the thread. I don't care about the damage if it wont affect the exhaust. Will this cause an exhaust leak or any other problems?

Wow, I never realized how ****ty my APT's kitchen looked until that photo.
