Re: For those of you with the Plenum mods...
I kept mine bro. If you ever need any work done, you'll need to switch back quickly.
So you're going to get a Crawford P then?
BTW mine is fine now. Purrs like a kitten as b4, and more power.--- a real cool mod.

Re: For those of you with the Plenum mods...
Why would the dealer care about the crawford pleneum? Would take some really creative thinking to link that mod to void a warranty.
To that end, my dealer had full knowledge of my crawford while they were evaluating my car for a new transmission. Which I got in short order. I know they knew about the pleneum cause I quizzed the service adviser on it. (Keep in mind I showed up with the factory plastic engine cover on). Here's what the service advisor said. "Yeah I saw the welds on the side of the pleneum and I knew something fancy was on the car, but frankly as clean as the install was and the whole car for that matter, we've got nothing to worry about, it doesn't concern us". Next I said, "thanks for not giving me a hard time, I was prepaired to take the car and one of your service people to dyno the car in front of you to prove I'm not pulling more power than a coupe does" He looked at me and said, "I think your pulling more power than the coupe is". To which I replied, "no I don't think it's doing that much." Add in my plainly visible Injen intake to all this as well.
I sent my stock pleneum back to crawford, with a promise from Doug that if I needed a stock pleneum for any reason, he'd sell me one for the same $200 core charge.

Re: For those of you with the Plenum mods...
That's cool you've got an open minded and co-operative dealer.
I think mine would be too.
But not all are so understanding. Some freak at the sight of something as simple as a grounding kit or an intake, and if they're that way inclined, it would be hard to argue with them.
True you can get another stock intake if needed but that takes a little time. I figured for $200 I'd keep the stock one as I have all other parts I've changed. JMHO.

Re: For those of you with the Plenum mods...
"Wtf does this mod do anyway? I'm not speaking about the gains. I'm talking what does a Plenum do? Sorry I'm a noob sometimes."
At first I wondered the same thing so I asked my brother who is a mechanic, here is his reply:
"a plenum is part of the intake manifold. A plenum funnels the air into the intake"
I think the crawford plenum flows the air faster and more smoothly, so that all cylinders get equal amount of air and perform equally.
