Enjoy and thanks for the business!!

Do you have a list of recommended installers? Although the 4 hr drive for me is not a real big deal. Sounds very nice, that with quality build goes a long way with me.

Most any shop can do the install. We do not have a 'network' of places to go for installation. Some have taken the kit to their local dealers, others have done their own install, most just go to an exhaust shop or their mechanic.

It is a simple bolt on install - no welding needed.

Is it me or is the question of gains when cats are involved some big ugly monster that people are pretending isn't there? I PMed ISMSOLUTIONS about this once and never heard any reply. I asked in a previous thread and no one addresses my question at all. I ask it in this thread and no one addresses it. From the threads I've read, it's always with test pipes. My state requires cats, so I'd love to know the performance gain with cats involved. $800~$1000 is a lot of money for a difference in sound.

Hey there -

Sorry if I did not get back to you on a PM - but I show no records of getting one from you -

The details your looking for are in our GB thread for our CATS - and they are not $800-$1000 - thankfully for all!

As far as performance is related to the FI CATS and Testpipes -

You can see on the Fast Intentions website - www.fastintentions.com - pix and dyno's and all of that info. as well.

The Resonated testpipes put out about 9HP on a completely stock vehicle and the CATS put out about 2HP less overall.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Rick

no... I'm asking what gains the FI Exhaust system produces when it is on a car with cats... rather than a car with test pipes. The $800-$1000 was for the FI exhaust system... I was saying that $800-1000 would be a lot of money for a simple change in exhaust note if there were minimal performance gains on a car with cats (as cats are required in North Carolina).

OK - your missing it - or your not being clear. I think you have your answer, you just don't know it yet.

So lets try this:

On the website, there are dyno's of the system on a stock car. There are dyno's of the sytem on that same car only with our testpipes on the car. We don't have a published dyno with the system on a stock car with our CATS on it - HOWEVER, as stated, the CATS produce 1-2HP less than the testpipes.

So - if you check out the website and see the dyno's you could take 1-2 HP off the dyno with the testpipes and have your answer. If your looking for HP info on a car with STOCK CATS - that is already there and published.

Let me know if 1) I'm not being clear to answer your question, or 2) if I still have not answered it. I'm trying my best to bring out all the scenarios so you understand.

Thanks!!

Rick
