hey i have that famous rattling after i installed my kinetix hfc..im pretty sure the only way to get rid of it is to remove the heat shield..the sound actually goes away after like 5 min of driving but its damn annoying to hear...so i was wondering is it safe to remove the heat shields that are above the hfc?...i know most people remove it but im just wondering if it will increase heat soak into the body..i mean why remove something that has a purpose right?..just need some help on this..thanks!

 

same problem and same consideration, be i desided it wouldn't be safe, and moded it enough to make it stop.
