Which headers, which intake, what kind of exhaust do you have and how are you tuning?

every car is different, no one is going to give a accurate number. Some cars modded will do 245 and some cars stock will do 245 on the same day, same dyno. So it depends on the car.

MREV2 and CAI hooked up along with headers will definitely help the engine put up some decent NA gains. The MREV2 will improve midrange torque to give you a nice push-ya-into-yer-seat feeling, and the headers will definitely compliment that plenum mod. CAI will improve things too, but not dramatically. I would definitely consider an aftermarket exhaust too, but the OEM exhaust isn't terribly restrictive so you could still experience these gains using it.

If you're looking for a set of headers that is a much easier install with a more affordable price, consider the Strup headers. They're proven performers that will give comparable gains for half the price. Do a search for them in this forum for some history. Many happy customers out there!

We have free shipping on the Strup headers and MREV2 if you're interested.

good luck with the mods! they'll keep you grinning!

Thanks.

I just checked out the parts u recommended and i am interested in possibly purchasing. I am also planning on to do some work on my suspension. I am looking to get front and rear sway bars and springs, but do not know which ones are the best for a G. Does any one have any suggestions?

I know the Stillen sways are popular because of their adjustability, but I installed the NISMO F&R sways on my '05 6MT coupe and they definately helped. The car feels more solid and handles even flatter. I don't have any need for further adjustment at this time, however, if you track the car some adjustable sways would be nice to dial it in.

Very happy with my NISMO sways. It just raised the OEM handling several notches.

hey maicoJr - We can help you out with springs and sway bars too. We are an authorized distributor for Progress Technology. They are a very reputable suspension company located out in Cali, with some very knowledgable R&D and deep roots in grassroots road racing. They have been supporting and sponsoring many race series across the US for years, and make exceptional quality products. Their products are all made in the US too, and not mass produced and imported from overseas using inferior metals. They come with a limited lifetime warranty too.

We have their 33mm front adjustable and 22mm rear adjustable sway bars on sale right now. We also have their performance springs on sale too. They provide a nice even 1.2" drop and this combination will definitely be noticeable and improve the handling of your coupe markedly.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you're looking to get this stuff at the same time, I'll cut you an extra deal on top of the sale prices we have going on. Feel free to shoot me a PM.
