i took out my resignator and it rasps like a bitch i kinda like it thought it sound distinct yet stock and louder. i dont know about no hot dog pipe tho.. lol

do you call it a hot dog pipe, becaue its really thin? like an inch or so? wouldn't that make some back pressure, and possible hurt performance?

so you just cut the old one out and then replace it with a smaller resonator? does it affect performance? any difference besides sounding a little louder?

yeah i want to know, if it dosnt hurt preformance might be the first mod to my 07, on all accounts they are said to be quiet

Does not affect performance. Both resonators are straight thru flow, the dif. original has more packing, which, retains more sound. The hot dog is less packing. Enough to keep the rasp away, but enhance the exhaust tone. Its awsome and cheap. do it ! trust me.

its not going to hurt your performance..its just a resonator..if it does anything it will be marginal..
