most people who take off the converters use a glass pack muffler to absorb the rice burner gargle and pop sound... i have seen it work on everything from 4 cyls, 6 cyls,8cyls................not v10s

ok with crawford cats there is no rasp. u can buy the hot dog resonator at the muffler shop. im sure the hot dog will make a stock G louder. I have crawford high flow cats and the hot dog. This combo turned up the stoke note about....hmmmm, 6 notches or so. Sounds Awsome !!!!!!!!! If u have stock cats, it will still amplified the stock note....cant go wrong. I hope
GOT HOT DOG? HAAAAAAAAAAA

yup!.. that's what I did when I first got my G. Got it done for like $10 and I fully enjoyed the sound and the very very little gain that I got from it too

no droning in cabin. i take my exhaust note over any cat back out there. again, i have crawford highflow cats and added the hot dog. same note, but louder. sounds beautiful and still keeps the elegance. by all means it does not sound like a civic. it is perfect in my opinion. i am sure when u guys do it, u will agree with me.

Ok, somebody better do this over the weekend and post a sound clip. It would be great, if you get one before and after, so us sceptical ones could determine the difference.
Without a clip this thread is WORTHLESS!
I'll check back here everyday, so hurry up people.

What do you guys mean by "rasping"? Is it that bad and annoying?
Because I had a Supra Turbo with the resonator replaced with a straight pipe and the sound just gotten louder. No rasping at all.
I've been thinking about removing the resonator on my G and my 190E 'till I saw this thread.

Just gt my coupe about 3 weeks ago and this is on my list of things to do. I did it on my 6MT G sedan and loved it. I used a magnaflow resonator (looked like a cylinder). It had a 4" diameter and was 14" long.
