I just checked out a great DIY for replacing the stock intake tube with the Z tube

Looking at the picture I see that there is a huge resonator on it. This makes me believe that while reducing noise there is a great ammount of turbulance and reduction in flow at the throttle body. I like Fluid mechanics in school but never had field experience but everything tells me that the resonator deign is good for noise but it is not an optimum design for laminar flow

Anyone wonder why the Z has a higher HP rating?! Ever wonder why infiniti is performance luxury and the Z is performance?!

I really think that this is a great mod and will do it along with insulating the tube to reduce the heating of the air inside (better performance)

This has been talked about but this is the first time to see the G tube outside the car along side the Z tube
