Z-tube warranty issue revisited

I have just completed my first mods on a recently purchased ‘04 G35 coupe, including an OEM Z-tube and an AFE (stock replacement) air filter.
I have done an extensive search of this forum on this subject as to whether or not the Z-tube will void the Infiniti factory warranty. Most members here say the dealership told them this mod would void the warranty (despite the fact that we all know this is totally illegal (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).
My question is has anyone here actually been refused warranty service on their G35 because they installed a Z-tube? If so, please tell me about it.

1. they could claim your warranty is void for any reason they want to
2. the only relevant legal reason is if your installation caused another part to fail
3. that would be near impossible due to the nature of the ztube

hmm ztube used on the 350z engine..same engine as ours...there is no problem switching a ztube to the G. Nothing could damage as a result, except say you dont actually connect it and you suck in a squirrel?

Agreed. Only a leak would cause any issues and even at that would only throw a Check Engine Light.
Damage, I doubt it.

I had a p2135 - Throttle body error code and went to the dealer with my z-tube installed, they replaced the whole throttle body ($800 in parts) under warranty.

Depends on the dealership. I brought my G in for an oil change and they adjusted the tube for me so it wouldn't touch the AC line (without me asking). Pleasant surprise.
I've brought my car in later, with complete aftermarket suspension and Turbo kit. With minor grumblings from the service manager (which I ignored), they warrantied my headlight housings, a window motor, a seat motor, and tried to fix a rattle for me. It could be that I get my regular service there.

Hell, have any of you guys visited Infiniti of South Bay, in Southern California? They have an 06 G with a Kenstyle body kit, aftermarket intake, carbon fiber panels inside (replacing the aluminum pieces), rims, intakes, exhausts, blacked out rear lights, etc. I don't think it had a turbo, but maybe it did since it was about 60K. Yes, they were selling it. Now, can you imagine coming back after buying that car and being denied?
