G35papa - I feel like a little kid every time I do it....and the bigger (longer) you're under it...the more it resonates. Reminds me of the sounds @ a racetrack!

i especially love the sound after a 2 hour plus drive.... the g owner i bought mine from had coupe middy and it droned in the lower rpms.... i'm on stock middy and no drone.... need to take it out again for a drive (siting in garage covered and away from the elements) since i've been driving my corolla beater car... (sold my 2k2 6sp max, bought a 93 corolla 5spd)
oh so quiet too but at least the corolla gets 40 mpg and likes the 87 octane...

It doesnt seem that much louder then stock to me. Is it a little louder in person? It seems to have a nice tone, not ricey at all. Are you satisfied with the sound?

Where and how much did you pick it up for?

What realistic power gains did you see or feel?

Jimmy, I think you should get your kid to work the camera while you do a fly-by

For real!? It's not even close to stock sound....for real. You can't hear everything in the videoclip....just gives you a general idea of how it sounds.

They can be found at numerous online sites. I got mine thru cardomain w/ their 105% price match.

You actually lose a little low end torque, as the HKS doesn't have the variable valve (I think that's what it's called) that is in the stock muffler. No big deal to me...I don't race & don't track my car....I just enjoy the music the exhaust makes.....

Careful with this mod, guys. New York State has this little law called "Muffler Modified to Amplify", VTL 375-40B. No points, but it gets expensive after two or three convictions. Trust me. I'm sure other states have similar laws.
