So I was installing my z-tube/stillen airbox today....

Today I decided to install the Z tube and stillen hi-flow box that I recieved a few days ago. Im comming from the Injen CAI (my car came with one).

After I took out the old intake and started installing the new one, I noticed i was missing a part . My intake tube is a couple inches short!!.... Does anyone know where I can buy that Accordian coupler? Its the little piece thats between the z-tube and MAS.

I thought it came with one because of all the picture of the z-tube that i see. I ended up having to reinstall the Injen CAI. Pretty easy install/reinstall though.... I did everything in less than an hour.

Do you still have your stock intake pipe? There should be one on that that you might be able to swap onto the Z-tube. I think I remember there being strange triangular protrusions on the Z-tube which were designed to fit into a large hose clamp made particularly for the Z-tube. Might have to sand that down if this is true.

Yeah acutually thats the problem.... I dont have any of the stock intake pieces because when I bought the car it came with the CAI already. I searched and your just supposed to swap it out from the oem intake.

I looked through infiniti-parts.com and they dont sell it separately... I really dont want to buy the whole stock g-tube just to get that coupler

You don't need it, unlike the OEM tube, it's already attached to the Z-tube

I ordered the kit from everythingg35.com...... I thought it would come with that on the end already but i guess not. The tube i recieved is just the tube alone without that part.
