dont think you'll have any droning. i have crawford headers and cats and mine has a slight drone on the highway. just as much as when i had headers w/ stock exhaust
i got mine from jsc speed for a great price, and their shipping was lighting fast. had it w/in 3 days
I'd rather it sound cool than look cool, but above that, I'd rather it perform cool rather then sound cool...
Go Stillen.
HKS, even back in 2000, in my Civic Si days, was always ricey, thats why I went straight Mugen in the SI.

If Stillen outperforms HKS, it's by a very small margin. Not enough to outweigh the fact that HKS looks 543,567,843,047x better than Stillen (of course I am biased).

If it's still not loud enough for you (I think it will be) then get test pipes.
This is a question for all since I do not want to put anyone on the spot.. I am guessing normal driving (2.5 or so RPM) produces a nicer growl then stock? I did some searching on streetfire and youtube but its a bit hard to tell...
I believe there are different HKS' exhaust as well... or am I wrong on that? Which one is best? I also saw someone mention it that someone is selling it for 1285 shipped... anyone care to divulge who that someone is?
Thanks guys...

Thanks for the props though. I'm currently in the process of modding my new G and hope that it will out do the red one. You definitely get a different and deeper growl from HKS with normal driving. But it is at WOT that you really hear the difference. It really roars when you open it up. Vids and sound clips definitely do not do the exhaust justice either. You have to hear it in person to really appreciate it.
I think HKS actually only makes one system for the G coupe which would be what we all have. The Hi Power Ti True Dual exhaust. And I believe engs12 mentioned that he ordered his exhaust for that price from JCSpeed which is a sponsor on this form. PM JCSpeed and I'm sure Kyle can hook you up too.

Honestly, i feel in love with the hks the first time i heard it. Sorta wish i hadn't since now i won't be able to feed my family for the week.
So what is your definition of rice? I always thought it was putting superficial stuff on your car that had no benefit of performance or putting stickers of performance parts that you didn't have...
