Question MREV 2 & 5/16 Iso Thermal installation?

Hey everybody,

I just received my MREV2 & 5/16 Iso Thermal kit. Any tips or tricks I should be aware of before I install them?

TIA,
Jeff

don't over-torque the 6 bolts in the lower plenum. make damn sure you buy a torque wrench that can take between 20-100 in-lbs.

don't forget to grease your gasket.

don't drop any bolts into the engine bay or you gotta go fishing

have all the right tools ready, i.e. 10mm socket wrench and correct torque wrench

OH, have fun installation and marvel at the fact you're dissecting your engine =)

and make sure you have the correct torque wrench, i know too many people who end up breaking the bolts because they didnt have the right tools. and it wouldnt be a bad idea to cover up any holes in the engine compartment so if you do happen to drop a bolt or something you wont have to go on a scavenger hunt for hours
