Pics of my Fujitsubo Exhaust

I got the exhaust from drsifu...The exhaust is bit louder than stock at 2k+ rpm but lower when idle (which i like)...The exhaust sounds nice but after installing it, I kind of miss the stock sound now .....I may end up selling it so if anyone is interested PM me...but as for now here are some pics...

Funny you should say that Daniel. Someone just posted they installed the Borla and they missed the stock exhaust already. They didn't even align your tips correctly

Welcome to the Fuji club...lol, you will get used to the sound after awhile but yeah the stock exhaust tone is one of a kind.

Hey, I am the one that got the Borla. Want to trade and try it out?

I was thinking about Fujitsubo next. Is the sound also very different from stock? The Borla made the G35C sound like an American car with a V-8. Some people like that, but I prefer the stock howling sound.

So..... if anyone in SoCal is interested in the Borla, LMK. (thread jack!!!)

i didn't notice that the exhaust was aligned wrong because it seemed like both sides were equally moved over to the side...the car does accelerate much easier, the car actually seems faster! BTW I only have the fuji exhaust and NO y-pipe...as for trades, I think it i will end up either keeping the fuji or going back to stock...does anyone want the exhaust plus cash on my part for some tein basics???

Same here, with the Borla I think I actually lost some torque down low, but once you get on the gas the car is faster for sure. The 'choke' from 4000rpm to redline is relieved quite a bit with the new exhaust. The car also revs smoother. Like you though, I really miss the stock exhaust. I am thinking about reverting back to stock but add a Y-pipe. No CAT for me as that sounds raspy. Honestly all I want is stock exhaust, but more of it. Same tone, same pitch, just more volume.

I'm in the same boat as you, love the stock exhaust more than any aftermarket one I've heard. I got the Crawford cats and there is no rasp whatsoever, they just make the exhaust note louder. Not a whole lot louder, but definitely a noticeable change. I remember my initial impression was that the rpm's climbed faster and smoother, so you get the same butt dyno effect. I doubt you'd get any sound change from the y-pipe alone, but definitely look into headers and cats. There was a vid floating around of PhxBlue's car with Pro 1 headers and Crawford cats, it sounded sweet. I have vids of my car too, should you want to see them, just IM me.

Hi guys,

I just got my Fuji exhaust on last week. I was a little surprised at how quiet it actually was. I have the muffler and midpipe. Does anyone know whether an aftermarket Y-pipe would affect the sound? Nonetheless, I can't complain; great exhaust.

Thanks Finiti35. Please send me a link of the sound clip, I'll check it out. I heard a local member with race pipes and the rasp was pretty bad. I've also heard a 350Z with Kinetix pipe and that sounded odd to me as well. I havn't heard a bad thing about the Crawford Cats though. Maybe I should see if someone would trade their crawford Cats + Y-pipe for my Borla.

Right now I am very tempted to drive to a shop and get my stock exhaust installed. However, since I figure I will have to pay the labor, might as well try out the CAT & Y-Pipe

Same here I'm leaning towards getting my OEM exhaust installed...only this time I will do it myself instead of taking it to a shop!
